PADI ReActivate can help you re-learn and refresh your certification. While it's not mandatory, it can be beneficial to refresh your certification or get your skills up-to date before you go on vacation. Even experienced divers could benefit from a refresher class. Courses
PADI Reactivate Course for people who haven’t dived since a while is the course for them. The course will give you the opportunity to brush up your skills and learn in preparation for your vacation in Puerto Vallarta. You can take the course online or start it when you arrive in Puerto Vallarta.
Reactivate includes online training and pool sessions. This course is recommended for those who haven’t dived in 5-10 years. PADI Reactivate courses can be taken privately or with a PADI dive master. This course is a fast and simple way to refresh your scuba knowledge. You'll complete an in-water skills review and replace your certification card.
Course requirements
Reactivate is a great course for those who haven’t scuba dived in six months. This course is available at multiple locations and in multiple languages.
Reactivate PADI courses include a knowledge review, in-water skills training refresher and qualifies for a new certificate card stamped with the PADI ReActivate date. After completion, you are eligible to go diving again with the support of a PADI professional. The program is available in English, French, Korean, Dutch, and Japanese.
Course e-learning
PADI Reactivate online learning is a simple and effective way to improve your diving skills. This course will help you reactivate PADI Certification by reviewing material from Open Water Diver. It also has exercises that can be done in both open water and confined waters.
The Reactivate course is available online or in classroom sessions. The course can be completed at your own pace and students are encouraged to choose the format that suits them best. The online version includes multiple sections with multiple quizzes at the end of each.
Medical requirements
A medical questionnaire will be required if you want to reactivate PADI membership. The form can be downloaded here. In certain situations, you might also need to consult a physician. Before you can participate in any in-water activity, you will need to obtain medical clearance.
