White Point dive site is one of the best in LA. It has white bacteria mats on its bottom and is very close to the hot springs. The dive site also features an old shipwreck, rock reef, and kelp beds. It is also home to giant sea stars, cold water anemones, and urchins. High tide is the best day to dive.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo La is a California state parks located along Los Angeles County's southern coast. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. You will find many opportunities to dive in the clear waters off Leo Carrillo State Park.
