Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis was a pioneer of the scuba diving business, a local legend and member of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In the late 1950s, he began to scuba dive and became interested in underwater photography. This hobby required specialized equipment. Hollis earned an engineering degree and was able to develop his own housings. Hollis started Anchor Shack, an underwater camera store in Hayward (California) in 1965. He began to receive mail orders for his housings.
Oceanic
One of the most well-known and iconic names in scuba diving is Hollis Scuba Oceanic. The company was founded in 1972 by Bob Hollis and has since been synonymous with high quality diving equipment. Products include dive computers, rebreathers and new diving masks with heads up displays. The company also developed military diving equipment such as the MK-25, used by US Navy Navy frogmen and naval work divers.

Divers could drown from the Hollis Scuba recalled dive computers. The defective air flow control system on the recalled dive computer could cause a diver to lose control of his breathing underwater. These dive computers were sold between November 2010 and July 2012 for approximately $1200. You can return the affected units to the factory or dealer for repairs.
Warranty
Hollis' Scuba Warranty protects you investment by making sure that the equipment meets or exceeds your expectations. The warranty covers recreational scuba diving as long as the equipment is properly maintained. Hollis can help you exchange or refund your equipment if you have any issues. This warranty does however not cover shipping costs. Also, your warranty will not apply if you use the equipment for military or other commercial purposes.
