Sipadan
Sipadan reefs are a favorite spot in the Philippines and a lure that entices divers to dive. This area is situated in the middle a coral triangle making it one the most biodiverse marine environments worldwide. You will see turtles, sharks and lionfish in this area. Sipadan has visibility of between 15 m and 40 m, so it's easy to explore the underwater realm.

Shark Reef Marine Reserve

There are over 5,000 varieties of seaweeds and mollusks. Heart Reef is one of these amazing sites. This magnificent structure, which measures 17 meters wide, is breathtaking from the sky.
Half Moon Caye Wall
Many types of marine life can be found at this spectacular dive spot. The wall is also home of sharks. This was revealed recently. While you're on the wall, look out for sea fans, brain coral, and other critters. You may even spot a turtle or two. If you're feeling adventurous you can explore the underwater tunnels among coral outcrops.
Yongala
You have many options when it comes to diving on the SS Yongala. Townsville is just 3 hours away via fast boat. Advanced certified divers should be able to dive these waters, which is about 30m deep. A day trip to the SS Yongala is an option if you are able to afford it. It takes approximately three hours and includes two tanks.
Punta Vicente Roca
Punta Victoria Roca is an exceptional spot to dive because it is just 200 kilometers from the closest island. You can see many sea creatures here including the Galapagos Marine Iguana, red-lipped Batfish and schooling blackstriped Salema. Photographers might also get a glimpse of the endangered Galapagos flightless comorants.

Bonaire
Divers will love Bonaire's diversity and beauty. The island's leeward side is home to some outstanding dive sites. This spot is popular with divers and snorkellers alike. It has clear water and abundant schooling fishing fish. This site, together with the Karpata diving site, has incredible drop-offs.
