There are many types of freediving courses that you can choose from, such as the PADI Advanced freediver course and the NAUI basic course.

PADI Advanced Freediver course

PADI Advanced Freediver Course is a great way of improving your freediving abilities. This course will teach you how to perform under apnea as well as the correct breathing techniques for longer dives. This course will teach you how to rescue a freediver if necessary.

Once you have successfully completed the PADI Advanced Freediver course, you will be eligible to take the Instructor course. This is your next step in your freediving career. NAUI Basic freediver course

It is a 4-hour course that incorporates classroom discussion and pool instruction. This course will help you learn the fundamentals and physiology behind freediving. The book also includes proper breathing techniques, equalization for deep diving, and how to adjust your body. You must have swimming skills and be at least 12 years.


Before enrolling in an advanced course, you should have some experience in freediving. This course will teach you all you need to know about freediving and prepare you for more advanced training. You can become a PADI Freediver once you have completed the course. You can also learn to freedive with your buddy in a pool, ocean, or lake.

SSI Basic Freediver course

The SSI Basic Freediver program will help you swim 400m, dive 50m in CWT (50 meters), freedive 20m, and perform a simulated Blackout. You can also swim to the surface.
