PADI Discover Scuba Diving

PADI Discover Scuba Diving is divided into two sessions. The first session teaches basic scuba techniques, and allows you to breathe through a regulator. The second session involves students being taken to a local site to learn safety diving techniques. The instructor will keep the students safe and will demonstrate cool underwater equipment to them. PADI is also credited with a PADI Discover Scuba Diving course towards the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Gear available

You will learn how to properly use your gear and be familiar with safety rules. Your instructor will help you learn the basics of diving. You will also be given a Discover Scuba Gear Participant's Guide, which will guide you through each step.

This class is suitable for all levels of diving experience, whether you are new or experienced. You will be outfitted with basic scuba gear and be taught by a PADI Professional. In a relaxed setting, you will explore the underwater world while learning about scuba gear. The class allows you to explore up to six meters below the surface and make the leap to the depths. PADI Open Water Divers are allowed to dive up to 12 meters.
