How to Become a Master Diver with the United States Navy

The highest level of war qualification in diving is master diver in US Navy. This enlisted person typically has the greatest knowledge, experience and training in all aspects of diving and underwater salvage. At least 15 years' experience is required to become a master diver. You also need to have taken a specialization class. A specialization course can help you earn master diver status in the United States Navy.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

The PADI Master Scuba Diver scuba certification is a recognized level of scuba diving expertise. This program is offered by several North American diving training agencies including the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI), the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Scuba Schools International and the Professional Scuba Diver Association. This course is considered the most prestigious level of dive certification. You must be able to dive at least 30 feet underwater during the course.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver

If you want to learn more about scuba diving and are looking to advance your skills, the NAUI Master Scuba Diver program might be the right course for you. The course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to organize dives for other divers. You will learn how to use a compass, perform underwater communications, and recognize pre-panic signs. Also, you'll learn how and where to dive. This course includes a classroom session and two open-water dives.


NAUI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

It is a great way for you to increase your diving experience by taking the NAUI EnrichedAir (NITX). Master Diver course. The course covers all aspects involved in enriched-air diving, including mixing Nitrox with oxygen. Students will learn how to analyze the breathing mixture, the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen, and the hazards of handling both gases. They will also learn about Equivalent Air Depth, common gas mixing techniques, and the concept of Equivalent air depth. The enriched air course can be taken as an extension of an open water diver's Scuba Diver certification course, as it is a prerequisite to use the enriched air mix.

NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver

The courses required to become a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Master Diver Instructor are necessary in order to realize your dream. This certification is a requirement for the NAUI FIT training course. You will be able to become a professional NAUI instructor or leader. The Try Scuba program is the best way to start. The goal of this program is to teach you the basic skills and knowledge required to safely dive in open water.

NAUI First Aid Course

The NAUI First Aid Course for Master Divers will help you respond to various emergencies in the water. In addition to refresher sessions, the course will also provide valuable information on new First Aid standards and training best practices. NAUI First Aid training will provide you with all the information necessary to be able to react quickly to any emergency. The course is also uniquely hands-on, allowing you to practice the skills that you learn in the classroom.
