PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program

PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program teaches divers scuba techniques. It isn't a certification program but it provides all the necessary skills to safely and comfortably dive. PADI Divers learn basic skills for safe diving. They will also learn all about the equipment, and how to use it. They will be guided to shallow reef dives as well as open water diving during the course.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is made up of two sessions. The first session is about learning basic scuba diving techniques and breathing with a regulator. Students will then be taken on a trip to a local dive location where they'll learn the skills needed for safe diving. To ensure students safety, the instructor will be present at all times and will show them cool underwater objects. PADI has also been awarded a PADI Discover Scuba Diving certificate towards the PADI Open Water Diver program.

Cost

The cost of a Discover Scuba Course varies depending on the location. The course typically includes certification, pool trainings, checkout dives and equipment rental. There are also additional fees for renting gear and participating in other activities. Most courses require no expensive gear and teach the basics of diving. Equipment rentals may be charged at an additional cost by some locations. For this reason, you should do your homework to find a good course that will meet your needs and budget.


The Discover Scuba experience includes one open water dive and a $25 credit towards your Open Water Diver Course. You'll also have the opportunity to go on several reef dives with an IDC instructor during your course. This course also reduces the time and cost of obtaining the full certification. You must be at least ten years old to participate in the Discover Scuba Experience. You can also take the Discover Scuba course as a gift for a friend, family member, or colleague.

The Discover Scuba Diving program covers all your equipment needs, from a wetsuit to a regulator. The program also covers tanks, weight system, and a diving computer. You'll learn how to use the equipment properly, as well as the safety rules. The instructor will teach you everything about diving and provide all the required Scuba gear. You'll also receive a Discover Scuba Gear Participant Guide that will walk you through the entire process step by step.

This class is for everyone, no matter if you're new to diving or an experienced diver. A PADI Professional will teach you how to use basic scuba gear. In a relaxed environment you'll explore the ocean floor and learn about scuba diving equipment. This class will enable you to explore the ocean floor to six metres and to make the huge leap to get deeper. The maximum depth for a PADI Open Water Diver is 12 meters.
