St Lucia offers many great scuba diving opportunities. Trou Diable, Anse Chastanet and Anse Cochon North & South are some of these good scuba diving spots. Because of its strong currents, this plateau is great for drift diving. You will find large shoals of fish as well as sting rays, nurse sharks, and turtles in this area.

Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet is a popular destination for scuba diving in St Lucia. It's home to a variety of exotic tropical marine life. The reef is home for over 150 different species and can be found from 20 to 140 feet below the surface. It is also a favorite spot for underwater photography.

The resort of Anse Chastanet is situated in a beautiful setting close to the Pitons. It's also near the best reefs on the island. It was opened in 1968 and has since grown to be a 48-room resort. It is located between two steep hillsides and two ridges. This gives it a breathtaking location.

Ansechastanet offers the perfect location to enjoy scuba-diving in St Lucia and many other activities. You can also take advantage of custom-built resort trails and take yoga classes. Trou Diable

Trou Diable is an excellent place to start your scuba diving vacation to St Lucia. This amazing coral reef is 40 feet deep. Divers have the option to circle the reef 100ft below the surface to view a variety turtles and tropical fish.

Saint Lucia has many options for experienced divers and those looking for new challenges. You will find excellent coral reefs along the east coast. Also, the shelter from easterly trading winds and possible dangerous wave conditions at the north or south ends makes it ideal for diving. A number of skilled divers are also found in Saint Lucia. Many of these operators are easily accessible from the island's main resorts. This makes it an ideal place to take a certification or beginner course.

Anse Cochon North & South

Anse Cochon North & South Reef are two dive sites that can be explored by scuba divers. Both can be reached by the beach from a depth of about 10 to 40 feet. These are excellent dive spots for both beginners and advanced divers. While coral is found more on the northern side of this reef, reef fish are abundant at both ends. You will see octopus, sea whips, trumpetfish and sea whips.

The Lesleen M, an old cargo ship that was built in Anse Cochon's south end, is now an artificial reef. It was sunk by the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia in 1986. The seagrass bed that surrounds the wreck attracts many fish species. The wreck was intentionally sunk in order to create a diving site. You might also see stingrays or barracudas.
